The NSS Unit organized an HIV/AIDS Awareness and Red Ribbon Campaign to mark World AIDS Day. The program aimed to educate students about HIV/AIDS, promote safe practices, and spread awareness about the importance of the Red Ribbon symbol.
All NSS volunteers assembled in the prescribed uniform, and the event began with a briefing on the significance of World AIDS Day. Volunteers were informed about HIV transmission, prevention, and the need to eliminate stigma surrounding the disease. Volunteers interacted with students, shared awareness messages, displayed posters, and explained the importance of early testing and safe behaviour. The entire college actively participated and responded positively to the initiative.
The event successfully fulfilled its objective of spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting compassion toward affected individuals. The active involvement of NSS volunteers made the program impactful and strengthened the spirit of the NSS motto “Not Me But You.”
